Every month, at 6:30pm on the last Friday, we serve free pizza, popcorn and soda,
and enjoy fellowship while watching a faith-based movie for all ages. Come join us!
Saluda Baptist Church collects
non-perishable food all year long to
support the local Food Pantry at the
Cryer Center.
Twice a month, we partner with Hands Across Middlesex and Dollar General in picking up soon-to-expire food items and other articles to support those in need.
FCA is a Christian outreach for middle and high school students. The club meets at the schools in the mornings to share a message, to pray, and have some social activities to encourage connection and sharing.
Saluda Baptist Church, along with other MTBA churches, thanks the officers and staff of the MPRSC with a special meal at Christmas, and the opportunity to spread God's love to them.
Saluda Baptist Church supports the
Hope for Appalachia mission within the MTBA as well as ramp-building projects in the local community to help those in need.
Saluda Baptist Church has volunteers supporting our local Meals on Wheels program, providing seniors with the nutrition they need and the
human contact they desire.
Saluda Baptist Church shares in supporting our local foster kids with other churches and organizations. It is our honor to be able to provide birthday and Christmas
gifts to each child.
Saluda Baptist Church collects shoebox items all year long in preparation for an October packing party to give children of all ages hope and encouragement at Christmas.
Saluda Baptist Church promotes and encourages missions within the church.
Saluda Baptist Church has a heart for the community, supporting those in need through the Middlesex Social Services office and the local Helping Hands program.
We also partner with Lancaster High School to lift its principal, teachers, students, staff and parents up in prayer.
Hands Across Middlesex provides free services to the needy citizens of Middlesex County, these include food for 400+ families at drive-through locations around the county every month and home food delivery monthly to the disabled. They provide emergency home repairs including ramps and have a clothing closet set up which is free to Hands clients.

Saluda Baptist also has collection boxes for non-perishable food for Hands.
The MPRSC has approximately 50 dedicated personnel working around the clock to provide the highest level of safety and security for our community. The Center supports 5 surrounding counties and has a rated capacity of 121 inmates. We partner with other MTBA churches to provide a Christmas meal to thank the officers and staff for their service.

MTBA’s Community Ministries team reaches out to the community to identify benevolent needs; encourages and coordinates ministries such as home repair, community care, literacy, teen pregnancy and crisis care, and others as needs are identified; helps needy people in emergency situations as resources permit: develops and maintains a Community Resources Directory; fosters interfaith and interracial cooperation: and enlists volunteer churches and individuals to help carry out Community Ministry programs.
In 2023 the MTBA Mission Project, Ramp-It Up, provided 14 homeowners with ramps. Since
the inception of Ramp-It Up in 2020, MTBA has built or assembled 33 ramps for homeowners
who have difficulty navigating steps.
